Loving My New Camera Lens!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Recently I was lucky enough to get a new camera lens for my Olympus! If you want to talk technical, this lens is in fact not new, but used. The lens is from the 80’s in perfect condition and has hands down changed the way I take photos and the way the photos turn out. I am not a professional, and would always, always, always take pictures on the automatic setting. Super lame. My pictures were always flashy with dark backgrounds and filled with very unflattering light. This camera of mine was not cheap, so why should I have a computer filled with pictures that look like they have been taken from a cheapo camera? uh, I think not. So, with this new lens, with the addition of learning how to use my camera’s manual mode, adjusting the aperture (learning what aperture means), and shutter speed (learning what shutter speed means), I have been able to transform my results. Not only are my paper products photographing so much nicer, but the quality of my products has really been able to shine through. And, as a mother of three, taking pictures of my kids is like my first hobby, so having great pictures is very important to me!
If you are wanting a new lens of your own (trust me, you wont regret it), check out the Olympus 45mm f1.8 or this one. And if you want to know what all these numbers and letters mean, this may help you out! Thanks for checking in!
xoxo
